Automated Trading & Third-Party Tools

This article explains what types of automation are permitted, what is strictly prohibited, and how traders can remain compliant when using assisted trading tools.

Automated trading is heavily restricted to ensure all traders operate on equal footing and to avoid system exploitation.

Fully Automated Trading Is Not Allowed

Any trading strategy that operates without the trader's real-time involvement is banned. This includes:

  • Running bots continuously day and night

  • Plug-and-play Expert Advisors (EAs) with no manual input

  • Signal mirroring platforms

Third-Party Automation Tools Are Prohibited

Using external automation services (outside the trading platform itself) is a direct violation. This includes platforms like:

  • SignalStack

  • API integrations that automatically execute orders without human oversight

Semi-Automation Is Allowed with Conditions

Traders may use tools that assist in decision-making or trade management only if:

  • The trader is actively monitoring and approving entries/exits

  • The system does not operate on full autopilot

  • The trader understands and can control the logic of the system

Failure to comply with automation rules will result in permanent account disqualification, even after passing evaluation.
