When Am I Allowed to Trade on Hyperticks?

This article explains the permitted trading hours, automatic trade closures, and special considerations for Globex and holiday sessions.

At Hyperticks, trading is permitted beginning at 6:00 PM EST (Globex Open) and continues until the 4:10 PM EST New York session close. This applies across evaluation, simulated funded, and instant funded accounts.

What Happens if I Do Not Close a Trade?

If you have open positions during regular trading days, Hyperticks will automatically close them at 4:10 PM EST. This ensures that accounts remain compliant with our rules.

⚠️ Important: Do not attempt to repeatedly force orders after 4:10 PM EST. In rare cases, this may push an order through, which would result in a rule breach and could disqualify your account.

🌐 Trading the Globex Open at 6:00 PM EST

Yes, you are permitted to trade at the Globex Open. However, we advise caution during these times, as liquidity may be thin and order fills can be inconsistent. While trading during illiquid hours is allowed, it is done at the trader's own discretion.

This same rule applies to holiday trading hours, where liquidity can be lower than usual.

📅 Holiday Trading Hours

During holiday sessions, markets may close earlier than standard hours. In these cases:

  • Auto-liquidation will not occur at the half-day close.

  • Traders are responsible for closing all positions before the official holiday market close.

Failure to do so will result in a breach of the account, which applies to both evaluation and simulated funded accounts.
