How to create your services?

Here is a video showing you how to create your services

To create a service, you must go to Settings and then click on Services

Once in Services, you can add directly a service or add a "category" to organize your services.

When you click on "Add a category", a window opens on the right to allow you to indicate:

  • The name of your category

  • A color (to differentiate the categories, the color of the category will be automatically applied to each service present within your category, this allows you a better visibility on your calendar)

  • if you want the category to be visible online (Only if you have a FlexyBeauty website, available with the Plus, Boost and Luxury offer)

  • A description of your category

Note: To open a category, simply double-click on it. Inside, you can add a new category (or a subcategory) or a service.

When you click on "Add a service", a window opens to the right of your screen to allow you to configure your service.

In this window, you will find the tabs Record / Picture / Employee / Device or room/ Products / Online (if you have the Plus, Boost or Luxury offer).

You can configure your service from the Record tab and indicate:

  • The service's name

  • A color (if different from the category)

  • Several steps (if you need to include processing time for example)

  • A price (including tax)

  • A duration that will be blocked in your agenda when the appointment is made

The Image tab allows you to add to your service, either, a picture from those offered by FlexyBeauty or one of your personal pictures from your computer by clicking on "My pictures"> "Add a picture".

The "Personnel" tab is essential , it allows you to say how many staff members will be needed to perform this service and who can do it among your staff members. (if you have activated the Multi-resources services option in the Flexystore)

  • To change the number of staff required to perform the service, click on the up arrow (to increase the number) or the bottom arrow (to decrease the number) under the line "Number of people needed to perform the service (at the same time)".

  • To say "who" can or cannot perform the service among your staff members, simply check "yes" or "no" in front of the name of your staff members.

Warning ! If you note that you need one staff member, you must select at least one, if you note that you need two staff members you need to select at least two and so on ...

If the service requires a room or device, it must be indicated in the Room or device tab, just like with the staff members.

Likewise, if you notice that a room is needed, you must select at least one in the list below.

The tab "Products" allows you to indicate which products are used for the realization of this service. Doing so will:

  • Help trainees or new employees, allowing them to check which products should be used for this service.

  • Help you sell your products online, as your customers will see the products used and possibly buy them if they are available for sale. (If you have the Boost or Luxury offer).

Finally, for those with the website, you will have an Online tab, where you will be able to activate or deactivate different options.

There you go ! You now know how to create a service!

Then, all you have to do is save.

You will notice that you have a " duplicate " button. By clicking on your service and on "duplicate", you will create a copy of the service.

It is quite useful when you have similar services, but with different prices or times, it avoids re-creating a new service manually each manually.
