Exporting Reports

How to generate and export custom reports of your applications

The Export feature allows you to transfer the information from your Lendesk account to another system such as a CRM or to analyze your data on a spreadsheet.

How to export a report

1. On the application list page, filter the applications based on your criteria or use one of your saved searches.

2. Click on Export

3. On the pop up window, enter the information that you want exported to the report or select from an existing template.

4. Click on Export

5. A new message will appear at the bottom of the page when the report is ready. You will also receive an email notification. Once the report is ready, click on the Reports tab on the top menu and download your reports

Note: The reports are generated in the background so you can continue working on your applications. It can take from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the size. If you don't see your report after a few hours, contact our support team for help.

Creating export templates

  1. On the export window, click on New Template

  2. Create a new name

  3. Customize the template by naming your column header title and adding a corresponding merge tag

Tip: Click on View Merge Tags, to see which merge tags you can use depending on the information you want to get on your reports
