If you are seeing duplicate properties in your application, you can check for the following:
Current address is set as own
When you set the Current Address type as own, this will automatically create a new property asset. If you manually created the property beforehand, you will see two properties with same address. The property automatically created by the system will have a greyed out checkbox.
To resolve this, you would need to delete the property that you had manually created and keep the one linked to the current address. Click on the checkbox and select Delete:
Second applicant is linked to the applicant's property but not current address
A duplicate property might also show up if you added a second applicant as an owner of the primary applicant's property. However, the current was manually typed in instead of linking to the primary applicant's current address.
To remove the duplicate:
1. Delete the second applicant's current address.
2. When prompted to use the primary applicant's address, click on Select.
3. Delete any duplicate on the Properties section.
