How to generate a commitment letter

  1. Go to the Loan Request page.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Generate Letter button.

Note: You need to add a commitment expiry date before you can generate the document. This can be added on the Conditions section of the Loan Request page.

How to edit the commitment letter template

You can customize the default template of your letter. The template is broken down into three sections: Introduction, Standard Terms and Signing Terms.

  1. Go to the Settings page.

  2. Go to the Documents section.

  3. Click on the EDIT button on the Commitment Letter.

4. (Optional) Use merge tags to automatically populate information that can be inserted from the application. Eg, Use {{applicant.full_name}} to fill in the applicant's full name when the letter is generate on the application.

Conditions

Conditions can be added through the Loan Request page. This will automatically be added to the Commitment letter. For more info on creating conditions, click here.
