Changes in Payments with Zelle® through MAJORITY

Updated over 2 weeks ago

As of April 1, 2025, the standalone Zelle® app is no longer available for sending or receiving money through MAJORITY.

Zelle® made this decision, which affects all banks and credit unions in the U.S. that used the standalone Zelle® app, not just MAJORITY.

What does this mean for MAJORITY members?

  • As of April 1, 2025, the standalone Zelle® app is no longer available for sending or receiving money through MAJORITY.

  • If you were using the app, it officially stopped working on April 1, 2025.

Is there an alternative to Zelle®?

Yes! MAJORITY offers several reliable and easy-to-use options:

MAJORITY Pay – Now you can send money to anyone in the U.S., not just MAJORITY members.
Payment Link – Request money from anyone by simply sharing a link — they don’t need a MAJORITY account.
Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App – Fully compatible with your MAJORITY card.

What is MAJORITY Pay?

MAJORITY Pay is our fast and secure transfer service.
You can use it to send money easily between MAJORITY members — and now also to people who don’t have a MAJORITY account.

It’s perfect for splitting bills, sending money to friends, or helping family — quickly and conveniently.
