Where can I find my SSN?

Your Social Security Number (SSN) is a 9-digit number used for identification and tax purposes in United States.

You can find it in the following places:

1. Social Security card

Your SSN is printed on the physical card issued by the
Social Security Administration (SSA).

2. Tax documents

You can also find your SSN on:

  • W-2 forms (provided by your employer)

  • Tax returns (such as Form 1040)

3. Pay stubs or official documents

Some employers or government agencies may include your SSN on official documents.
