What international transfer methods does MAJORITY offer?

Learn about the different ways to send money abroad with MAJORITY.

Updated this week

With MAJORITY, you can choose from different methods to send money abroad, depending on what works best for your recipient. Here are the three main methods:

1. Bank transfer

An international bank transfer deposits money directly into the recipient’s bank account.

  • Estimated delivery time: 1 to 72 business hours (may vary by country and bank).

  • Always check the app for specific processing times.

Ways to send:

  • Direct transfer:

    • Enter the recipient’s details: full name, bank, account type, account number, ID, and registered bank address.

  • Transfer link:

    • Generate a link and share it with the recipient.

    • The recipient completes their details to receive the money.

    • You can cancel the transaction in the app as long as the recipient has not yet completed their information.

2. Cash pickup

Allows the recipient to collect the money in person at an authorized location.

  • The money is not deposited into a bank account.

  • Once available, a reference code will be generated and must be shared with the recipient.

  • The recipient must present this code at the selected location to withdraw the funds.

If the recipient does not receive the code by SMS:

  1. In your MAJORITY app, go to Wallet and select the cash pickup transaction you sent.

  2. Tap Share with recipient and send the reference code directly to them.

3. Digital wallet

The money is deposited directly into the recipient’s digital wallet app.

💡 Tip: Please check directly in the app which transfer methods are available for your country under Services > Money transfers.
