How to Connect Your MAJORITY Account to Venmo

Learn how to link your MAJORITY card or bank account to Venmo.

Venmo® is an easy way to send money between US bank accounts, typically within minutes.

Follow these steps to link your MAJORITY debit card with Venmo:

  1. In your Venmo app, go to your profile and then tap on Settings > Payment Methods > Add a bank or card > Card

  2. Enter your MAJORITY debit card details, along with your name and address as it appears in your MAJORITY account


Follow these steps to link your MAJORITY account with Venmo:

  1. In your Venmo app, go to your profile and then tap on Settings > Payment Methods > Add a bank or card > Bank.

  2. Tap on the button to verify the bank account details manually.

  3. Enter your MAJORITY account details, including routing number and account number, and press Continue.

  4. Continue entering your account details, making sure the information matches your account.

  5. You will need to verify the amount of a couple of small transactions to confirm that the account belongs to you.


Follow these steps to send or receive money in your MAJORITY account with Venmo:

  1. In your Venmo app, tap Pay/Request in the main screen

  2. Select the user want to send or request money from, enter the amount, and tap Request or Pay

  3. Tap Request or Pay once again to complete the transaction

  4. In your Venmo app main screen, to to your profile and then tap on Wallet > Transfer

  5. Select your desired transfer speed and tap on Transfer to receive your money in your MAJORITY account

💡Tip: Venmo will then send microtransfers to your MAJORITY account to verify ownership these will be less than $1 each. You will see these microtransfers in your MAJORITY account within 1-3 business days. Once you receive them, go to venmo.com/verifybank to verify your bank account and start using the service.
