If you send money to Bancolombia and your recipient is receiving an international transfer for the first time, they must submit a government-required form: the Declaración de Pago (o Declaración de Poder). This confirms their identity and authorizes international transfers to their account.
To enable international transfers, your recipient must:
Go to bancolombia.com.
Click on Sucursal Virtual Personas and log in.
From the main menu, select Transfers > International > Receive.
Click Activate automatic deposit, complete the form, verify details, and confirm.
