With MAJORITY, you can send money instantly to Colombia. To do so, your recipient must first enable international bank transfers in their Bancolombia account. If your recipient does not enable this, your transfer may take up to 2 business days to arrive.
To enable international bank transfers for Bancolombia accounts, follow these steps:
In a laptop or computer, access your Bancolombia account by visiting bancolombia.com
Click on Sucursal Virtual Personas to sign in your account
In the main menu, go to Transferencias (Transfers) > Internacionales (International) > Recibir (Receive)
Click on Activar abono automático (Activate automatic deposit), complete and verify the form, and click again on Activar abono automático
💡Tip: The Colombian government requires recipients of international transfers to complete a "Declaración de Pago" form. This form only needs to be completed once and can be completed by following these steps. Once you enable international bank transfers, you'll be able to receive instant money transfers to Colombia.
