How can I verify my address?

Learn the options available to verify your address and keep your MAJORITY account secure.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

When you open your MAJORITY account, you may be asked to verify your address to protect your account. If you see a message in the app asking you to verify your address, you will have two options:

1. Upload a proof of residence

Take a photo of a physical document. Make sure all 4 corners are visible, along with your full name and address.

Examples of accepted documents:

  • Utility bill (water, electricity, internet, or phone)

  • Bank statement from another institution

  • Pay stub or employment document

  • Lease or home purchase agreement

  • Letter from the Department of Children and Families

  • Driver’s license or other valid government documents

2. Share your location

You can also verify your address by sharing your location.

👉 Important: You must be physically at your home address when using this option, otherwise you will not be able to complete the verification.

💡Tip: If you no longer live at the registered address, update it in the app first and then proceed with the verification.
