How do I verify my address?

Verifying your address is important to keep your account secure

Updated over a year ago

If you recently opened your account with MAJORITY, you may be asked to verify your address to help protect your account. If you see a message in your app asking you to verify your address, tap on the message to send us a picture of a physical document. Please make sure that all 4 corners of the document are visible, as well as your full name and address.

These are examples of acceptable documents:

  • Water, electricity, internet, or phone bill

  • Bank statement from another bank

  • Payroll or other employment document

  • Home rental or purchase contract

  • Letter from food stamps or from the Department of Children and Family

  • Driver license or other valid government IDs, or documents sent to you by the government.

💡Tip: To make changes to your account, you can contact us by opening your MAJORITY app and going to Account > Need help?
