If you’d like to use the classic MOL Bubi bikes regularly, we recommend purchasing a MOL Bubi Monthly or MOL Bubi annual Pass. With these passes, you can hire two classic bikes at the same time, and, as before, you’re entitled to 30 minutes’ free cycling; we only charge the 60 HUF per-minute fee after that. If you have a valid pass in the BudapestGO mobile app, you are eligible for a discounted MOL Bubi Pass. With the discounted pass, you can also hire two classic MOL Bubi bikes at the same time, and the first 30 minutes of every hire are free of charge. If you’d prefer to use electric-assist bicycles on a regular basis, we recommend the MOL Bubi electric-assist monthly or annual pass. If you have a pass, you do not have to pay an Unlock Fee, and the first 15 minutes of your journey are free of charge. With an electric-assist MOL Bubi Pass, you can hire up to two bikes at a time, regardless of whether they are standard or electric-assist bicycles. If you rent a combination of one standard and one electric-assist MOL Bubi for a single journey, the first 30 minutes of the standard bike hire are free of charge, after which each started minute costs 60 HUF; for electric-assist bicycles, the first 15 minutes of the journey are free, after which per-minute rates apply. Electric-assist bicycles are also available with a classic MOL Bubi Pass, but you will need to pay the 250 HUF Unlock Fee per hire and the 60 HUF per-minute usage fee. |
