How to share screen on memoriaCall

Sharing your screen on memoriaCall is a great way to collaborate with others. Whether you are working on a project with your team or giving a presentation to a client, screen sharing can help you get your point across more effectively. In this article, we will show you how to share your screen on memoriaCall.

To share your screen on memoriaCall, you will first need to join a meeting. Once you have joined the meeting, you will see a variety of options on the lower screen. Look for the option that says "screen sharing" and click on it to start sharing your screen.

For mobile users (iOS only), the process is just as simple. Open the meeting on your mobile device and tap on the three dots in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will bring up more options, including the option to start screen sharing. Simply tap on this option, choose 'Start Broadcast' and you're screen is visible to all participants!

Note: Screenshare is currently unavailable on Android devices. However, we are working on making it available soon.

Troubleshooting Screen-Share issues

Google Chrome:

  • Click on the Share Screen button in the bottom toolbar to share your screen.

  • You can share an image of your entire screen, which will show anything that is in focus on that screen.

  • If you have multiple monitors, you can also select which one you’d like to show.

  • If you click on the Application Window section, you can select a specific window of an application like Word or Chrome that you want to share.

  • Finally, you can use the Chrome Tab option if you only want to share one tab from your Chrome Browser.

Mozilla Firefox:

  • Firefox allows you to select which screen you want to share.

  • However, there aren’t options to share only an application window or a tab in your browser.

Chromium Browsers (Opera, Vivaldi, Brave, Edge):

  • These browsers support screen sharing similar to Chrome.

Safari:

  • Screen sharing is possible in Safari, but at this time, it is only possible to share your entire screen or application.

  • You cannot share an individual browser tab.

If you initially did not allow your browser permission to share your screen, you may need to clear your cache and refresh the page to get it to ask permission again.

If you’re still having issues, try the following general troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart your device or browser.

  • Terminate all browser processes and clear the cache.

  • Force-quit running applications.

  • Edit permissions for screen sharing in your device’s settings.

  • Try on a separate device connected to the same network.

  • Ensure you and the person you’re sharing with have sufficient bandwidth. Close other applications that may consume your internet bandwidth.

Please note that these are general steps, and the exact process may vary depending on the specific browser and device you are using.
