Multi-input device selection

If you have multiple input devices, such as a camera or microphone, and you wish to choose a specific device, here's how you can do it. First, ensure that the device you want to use is connected and properly functioning, with all the necessary software installed to run it. Switching between the devices during the pre-join screen and during the meeting follows pretty similar steps.

Step 1: Access the Settings

To customize your browser, click the Settings icon located below the join meeting button. This will open a menu with various options.


Select "Video" from the tab and choose your video device from the dropdown. Then, in the "Audio" tab, select your preferred audio input device.

Troubleshooting Audio and Video Issues

If you’re experiencing difficulties with audio or video during a meeting, there are several steps you can take to ensure your external devices are correctly configured.

  1. Check Your Device Connection: Ensure that your device is securely connected to your computer. If you’re using a wireless device, verify that it’s powered on and within the effective range of your computer.

  3. Restart if Necessary: If the issue persists, consider restarting your browser or even your computer. This simple step can often resolve technical glitches that may be inhibiting your device from connecting.
