Fees mentioned to take effect from 11 May 2026.
Opening a Mettle account is free, however we do have some service charges for a few account actions:
Cash withdrawals | We will charge a £1 fee per cash withdrawal. |
Cash deposits | We will charge a £2.75 fee per cash deposit. |
Card renewals | Please note Mettle does charge a £5 fee per card replacement if this is for the reason of being ‘lost’ or ‘damaged’. |
We also have an optional paid-for feature in the app as part of our Mettle+ subscription. This is an additional £4.00 monthly charge.
