Your Mettle account balance will not be FSCS protected. However, we are backed by NatWest, which has set up a ring fenced account matching the total balance on Mettle at any time. That way, if anything were to ever happen, you would be reimbursed in full.
To protect your money from fraud, we also give you control over your card from your application. You can freeze it at any time, and order a new one from the app. Simply reach out to our support team.
Additionally, if you were to lose your device, you can reach out to our support team via the phone number on the back of your Mettle card.
To prevent identity theft, we check any unusual activity with a series of questions.
