Copilot Dashboard Creator

The new AI dashboard creator in OnRent Go brings several major benefits that make dashboards easier, faster, and more powerful for every user.

The new AI‑powered dashboard creator lets you build personalised dashboard pods simply by describing what you want. The AI works strictly within your role permissions, ensuring your dashboard is tailored to your responsibilities and access level.

1. Open the Dashboard Area

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard screen.

  2. Click Create New Pod or Add AI Pod (depending on your interface version).

2. Launch the AI Pod Builder

  1. Select AI‑Powered Pod Creator.

  2. A prompt box will appear asking you to describe the pod you want.

This could be:

  • “Show me a chart of upcoming off‑hire equipment for the next 14 days.”

  • “Create a KPI tile showing overdue service inspections.”

  • “Build a table of outstanding deliveries grouped by depot.”

3. Describe Your Dashboard Pod

  1. Type your description in natural language — no special formatting needed.

  2. You can use prompts like:

    • Table

    • Pie chart

    • Bar chart

      And more.

Tip: You can ask for multiple elements in one request, e.g.,
“Create a utilisation chart and a KPI tile showing my current utilisation percentage.”

4. Let the AI Generate Your Pod

  1. The AI analyses your request.

  2. It identifies only the data and functions permitted for your OnRent Go role.

  3. It builds the pod layout, design, and configuration automatically.

You’ll see a preview of the generated pod before saving.

5. Save and Add to Your Dashboard

  1. Click Save Pod.

  2. Choose where on your dashboard the new pod should sit.

  3. Drag and drop it if you want to reorganize the layout.

Your dashboard now includes your custom, AI‑built pod.
