Setting Up Your Benefits Q&A Team: Choosing “Ask a Question” Recipients

Why This Matters

When employees have quick access to the right people, questions get answered faster, and confusion goes down. By assigning specific recipients for the “Ask a Question” feature, you make sure every inquiry lands in the right inbox the first time.

Before You Start

  • You’ll need to be an Administrator on Pendant to set this up (or already listed as an “Ask a Question” recipient).

  • Anyone you assign must already be an active user in your organization’s Pendant account.

How to Set It Up

1. Open Your Organization Settings

  • From your dashboard, click the three dots (…) in the top-right corner.

  • Choose Edit Organization from the dropdown.

2. On the main Settings tab

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page to Ask a Question Recipients.

3. Choose Your Q&A Team

  • You’ll see a list of eligible users (HR or Admin roles).

  • To make someone a recipient, click the box next to their name.

    • A checkmark means they’ll start receiving new questions immediately.

    • Click again to remove them if needed.

  • Pro tip: Keep at least one person selected so no questions go unanswered.

4. Save Your Changes

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Organization.

  • Look for the confirmation message: “Organization updated!”
