These are words you’ll commonly see when you use Pharmapod

Active user

A user that has logged into their Pharmapod account recently (the default is 30 days).

Actions 

Actions are simply 'To Do Lists' for incidents and near misses which have been recorded. One incident can have multiple actions.

Absence Alert 

An email sent to the superintendent if the store is missing pharmacist cover exceeding from the allowed threshold.

Absence Report 

This report displays the amount of time in minutes that a pharmacist was not present in the premises. 

Action Priority 

A message prioritised according to rules set by the user, so the most relevant message is received first, and not all at the same time. 

Accident  

An unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury.

Analysis Breakdown

View how the medication breaks down into each incident or near miss type. These are listed by the most involved medication. - fix

Article

Articles hold answers to the questions that customers ask and search for, as well as product guidance and best practice advice. 

Assignment

You can assign incidents or near misses to any teammate or team in your pharmacy. It will then appear in their 'Following'.

CM Queue 

This is a list of all your pharmacy's unassigned cases. Assign them to yourself or colleagues to keep track of how the incident is managed.

Following 

A list of all incidents and near misses that you have created, been linked to or assigned to. 

Medication Analysis

This chart highlights the medications frequently involved in incidents or near misses.

Pending Action    

A task that has not yet been completed. Actions are usually associated with a deadline set by the user. 

My Case List

A list of all cases that have been assigned to you.    

Compliance      

Compliance is either a state of being in accordance with established guidelines or specifications or the process of becoming so. It encompasses efforts to ensure that organisations are abiding by both industry regulations and government legislation.

Emergency  Personnel  

Someone responsible for mitigation activities in a medical emergency, fire emergency or hazardous material emergency.

Dashboard

A data dashboard is an information management tool that visually tracks, analyses and displays key performance indicators, metrics and key data points to monitor the health of a business or specific process.     

Event Status     

This refers to the stage at which a particular event is at when you are filling out an Incident or Near Miss form. 

Harm  Level 

A patient safety incident can have an impact on the patient at various levels, from Low right through to the Death. 

Incident 

This is a circumstance that could have/did result in unnecessary harm to a patient. 

  Investigation  

The Investigation stage of an event refers to an event that has just occurred and where further examination is required. 

Overdue    

Not having arrived, happened, or been done by the expected time. 

Pending  Actions  

Actions to medication events that has not yet been performed. . 

Risk  Assessment   

A systematic process of evaluating the potential risks that may be involved in an activity or undertaking.   

Risk Rating    

Refers to the potential for an event to have a negative impact on a patients' health. 

Root Cause Analysis   

Root cause analysis is a method of problem-solving used for identifying the root causes of medication safety events. 

SOP  

A standard operating procedure is a set of step-by-step instructions compiled by an organisation to help workers carry out complex routine operations.

User

A signed-up, logged-in user of your pharmacy.

Watchlist 

This can be used to monitor priority incidents and near misses which is particularly helpful to Superintendent pharmacists.
