What is the Event Stage?

The event stage refers to the stage at which a particular event is at when you are filling out an Incident or Near Miss form.
It appears as a drop down located at the top right corner of the page. ย 


There are four event stages available to choose from displayed in the image below.

For example, the 'Investigation' stage of an event refers to an event that has just occurred and where further examination is required. However, if the event has already been dealt with then this would be considered to be at the the 'Reflection' stage.ย 

If you wish to change the stage of an event, you can do so before the event is officially 'closed'.

Changing Event Stage

Click 'Cases' on the left menu bar tab. Then select the relevant event by clicking the selection box located in the first column of the events table.

Once you have selected the relevant event, Click the green 'Move Stage' button located at the top right corner.

From here, you can change the stage of the event by using the drop down menu. By clicking 'OK', your changes will be saved.
