You may be aware by now that the data protection law has changed, as the General Data Protection (GDPR) came into effect on the 25th May 2018.

As a Processer, we adhere to the requirements outlined in Article 28 of the GDPR. We can assure our customers that every business practice, function and process carried out by Pharmapod, is monitored for compliance with the Data Protection legislation.

We have undertaken a company-wide Data Protection Audit to ensure we record, categorise and protect the personal data that we hold and process.

We have revised and updated our Data Protection Policies and Procedures to reflect the principles of the GDPR. As a Data Processor regarding our customer relationship, we operate a 'Privacy by Design' approach and ethos. We maintain a continuous program of monitoring, review and improvement with regards to compliance with the Data Protection regulation. We are committed through our robust technical and operational structure. We have developed appropriate measures and controls to ensure personal data security, which are enshrined in our Information Security Program.

We are determined to show transparency throughout our journey with GDPR compliance. As a testament to this, we are fully committed to engaging with our customers surrounding the area of GDPR in order to assist our customers in fulfilling their obligations under GDPR with regard the activities conducted by the processors they engage with.

In line with GDPR requirements, we have appointed a dedicated Data Protection Team which takes responsibility for the overall supervision, implementation and ongoing compliance with Data Protection laws.
