Recording a hazard is a useful way of exposing potential risks in the workplace and raising awareness to prevent danger occurring as a result of such a hazard.
To record a hazard, click on the "Health & Safety" tab followed by "Hazards" and the blue "Add" button.
This brings up a digitized hazard recording form.
Hazard Details & Hazard Classifications are mandatory fields, and the classification details facilitate quick completion with the aid of drop down menus.
Free-text bars for "Recommendations/Controls" enables users to specify any solutions and comments related to the hazard.
There is also an option at the bottom of the form to record any SOPs utilized, and to provide feedback on the relevant SOPs.
When you have completed the form, click the green save button at the bottom of the screen.
