Modules Access Updates

1. User Story 5220: Remove 'Admin' Module Switch From "Incident Management

• Description: In Settings > Users > Modules Access, the Admin ON/OFF switch for the module Incident Management (or Event Management if in Canada/United States) has now been removed. There is now only the User level ON/OFF switch for granting Incident/Event Management module access to a user. This was completed to reduce confusion on what the user versus admin switches controlled.

2. User Story 5221: Remove 'Admin' Module Switch From "E-Training"

• Description: In Settings > Users > Modules Access, the Admin ON/OFF switch for the module E-Training has now been removed. There is now only the User level ON/OFF switch for granting E-Training module access to a user. This was completed to reduce confusion on what the user versus admin switches controlled.

3. User Story 4791: Misrecord Event Access" & "Widget Access Override" moved to be submodules of "Case Management"

• Description: In Settings > Users > Module Access, the modules "Misrecord Event Access" and "Widget Access Override" have been moved to be a submodule of "Case Management" to group modules that control functionality in the Event Summary and Cases views.

What does the module "Misrecord Event Access" allow a user to do?

The "Misrecord Event Access" module allows for a user to misrecord and un-misrecord in Cases. When an event is misrecorded, it will be automatically move to a closed state and can be found in the 'Misrecorded Events' tab of Cases.

What does the module "Widget Access Override" allow a user to do?

Normally if an "Action" is created only the person who created the access, the person assigned to the actions, or the Superintendent/Designated Manager are able to edit, reassign, or mark an action as complete. A user with the "Widget Access Override" module will also be able to edit, reassign, and complete actions.

4. User Story 5302: Decommision "CQI Widgets" & "Documents" Module - Remove from All Organizations & Users

• Description: In Settings > Users > Modules Access, the modules "CQI Widgets" and "Documents" have been removed. These modules are functionalities are part of the Incident/Event Management ON/OFF switch.

5. User Story 5309: Learning Point Widget - Access Controlled by Incident Management module NOT Patient Safety Report

• Description: For the Incident/Event Management module when this is turned on within module access users can utilise the "Add Learning Points" and "Learning Points" widget without having the "Patient Safety Report" module turned ON. This was previously reliant on the user having the Patient Safety Report module.

6. Task 5385: Re-Order Case Management Submodules & Rename "Toggle on Event Type" to "Toggle Event Type"

Description: The “Toggle on Event Type” submodule has been renamed to “Toggle Event Type”. And the submodule of "Cases Management" are now displaying in Alphabetical Order in Setting > Users > Modules Access.

7. User Story 4794: Move "Company Logo" upload from to System Configuration > Global Set

• Description: For a user with "System Configuration" ADMIN module access ON, they can navigate to System Configuration > Global Settings > Company Logo tab to update to change the logo for their organization. If a user only has USER level System Configuration module access they will only be able to view the "Dropdowns" tab and will NOT be able to view the "Global Settings" or "Organization Setup" tabs.

Why was this moved?

This previously was part of the "Organization Setup" tab of System Configuration. This was moved out of the "Organization Setup" as part of simplifying the system and allow for future changes in System Configuration. If you are part of a Membership/Buying Group then you will still see the "Membership" tab in the "Organization Setup" tab. You may also see a "Billing Info" tab in the "Organization Setup" tab depending on how your organization was onboarded. Otherwise the "Organization Setup" tab will be blank if neither of these apply to you.

PQS Safety Report updated for 2021/22

8. User Story 5210: PQS Update for 2021/22 Annual Report

• Description: For organizations and users with the "PQS Safety Report" module, the PQS Safety report has been updated to align with the templates published by the NHS for 2021/22. The PQS Safety report will allow you to select an extended date range and will pull in the Incident and Near Miss data for that date range totaling the numbers by Year-Month for the selected period.
