Actions Widget
5. User Story 9566: Action Widget[Revamp]: Action widget will have revamp in UI and few new datafields are added
· Description: The actions widget has been changed to the following:
The owner will be on top of the pop-up. By default, the system will take the user as the owner who is creating the action. If the user wants to select someone different then the user can change by clicking on the dropdown.
The due date will be alongside Owner. It will have a new implementation as we have in the forms. But by default, the action would have been selected from Form Settings.
New Data Field will be added "Goal/Action". It will have two options, "SMART Action Plan, and Pre-Defined". By default, the system should select SMART Action Plan.
If the user has selected "SMART Action Plan", the system will show Action Category and Action Sub-Category.
Action Sub-Category will be a checkbox instead of radio options. Users will be able to select multiple sub-categories.
If the user has selected multiple sub-categories, then the system will throw SMART Action for all the sub-categories as shown in the acceptance criteria.
The system will create a different action plan for each sub-category with the same details like owner and the due date.
If the user has selected "Pre-Defined", the system will show a dropdown with all the pre-defined actions. All these actions will be brought into the dropdown from the Form Settings > Actions Tool Settings.
For this, Action Category and Sub-Category data fields would be hidden as they are all set in Form Settings > Actions Tool Settings.
There will be an active link for "Add Notes". Once the user clicks, the system will throw a freeform text field where the user can add notes.
Instead of having a checkbox, we have brought a toggle. This will enable or disable the user to control the action being completed before the event. The data field has changed to "Complete before the event closed". By default, it will be off.
We will be adding a new mandatory question to all the actions, "Do you believe this action will be effective in preventing this type of event from happening in the future?". This will have two options, Yes and No.
There is an "ADD+" button, if the user wants to add multiple Actions with different users, then users will be using that button.
