Market Access appointment approval process & requirements
Approval timeline: 3-4 weeks (time can vary depending on agent responsiveness)
State availability: the agency must be physically domiciled in one of the following states to be considered for a sub-appointment: CT, FL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OH, PA, and VA
Appointment considerations:
During the vetting stage, Utica First will hold a call with each agency to discuss appetite and production requirements before deciding to move forward with an agency.
Agencies located in NY are not eligible for a sub-appointment (no exceptions will be made at this time).
Premium/book size requirement: minimum $25K/yr

Coverages: GL (with or without property)
*Sub-appointed agencies will only have access to the Artisan Contractors Policy
Adding additional users to quote in Utica First's portal:
Each user must register for portal access and must be added by the agency.
How-to Guide: Setting up additional user logins: Each person in your agency who will be using Utica First quoting, billing, or reports systems must be assigned an individual login (their email address) and a password.
