How to activate Coterie in the Bold Penguin Terminal

Step 1. Login to your Bold Penguin Terminal account.

Step 2. In the top-left corner, click on the dropdown menu and select Appointments:

Step 3. On the Coterie carrier card, click on the toggle to activate the carrier.

Step 4a. If you currently have an appointment with Coterie, select Direct appointment as the Appointment type, enter your email address,* and then select CONFIRM.

*This is the same email address used by your Agency to log into Coterie's Agent Portal.

Step 4b. If you are requesting a sub-appointment with Coterie through Bold Penguin, select Request through Bold Penguin as the Appointment type, and then select REQUEST.

Coterie is an expedited sub-appointment. In order to quote with Coterie, completion and approval of the Bold Penguin Compliance Questionnaire are required. Therefore, please allow up to 48 hours for activation once compliance is approved.

You're all done!

You will be notified once your appointment is ready to use on the Terminal. Once the appointment is active, the carrier card will also be toggled purple.
