There are two ways to quote with the carriers that are integrated on the Terminal: through direct and sub-appointments. If you have a direct appointment with a carrier that is integrated on the Terminal, you can use your direct appointment to quote that carrier.

Bold Penguin partners with several carriers who offer sub-appointments. To request a sub-appointment through Bold Penguin:

  • Select the dropdown Menu.

  • Navigate to the Appointments page.

  • Request a sub-appointment by toggling the button and selecting “Request through Bold Penguin.”

IMPORTANT: You must complete the required Compliance documentation to receive a sub-appointment, which includes providing E&O verification and W-9 documentation.

Once your agency has been approved by Bold Penguin's Compliance team (please allow 24-48 business hours upon Compliance Form completion), Bold Penguin's Customer Support team will begin requesting sub-appointments on your behalf.

Carrier sub-appointment activation can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, depending on the carriers' responsiveness. Once your sub-appointment is activated, you will receive a confirmation email from both the carrier and Bold Penguin.
