How to create a free Square account to set up card payments to use with a Square card reader and auto invoicing

Pocket PA integrates with Square to process payments from your clients and make sure you get paid fast.

NOTE: A card reader is needed to take in person card payments with Square. These can be ordered and bought online and start at £19

Auto invoicing can also be activated once Square is connected

  • The payments made via Square get tracked straight to your income dials once paid.

  • All Square transaction fees are logged automatically by Pocket PA to your business expense area.

  • Square transaction fees vary depending on whether the payment is made in person (CHIP & PIN or CONTACTLESS - 1.75%) or online / keyed in payments - 2.5% .

Set up and integrate with Square

To integrate Square to your Pocket PA account go into User profile > Integrations > Payment integrations

To integrate Square to your Pocket PA account go into User profile > Integrations > Payment integrations

  • Click to the green Square Connect button and you will be taken to the Square Login page.

To connect Pocket PA and Square, you will need to have a Square account so follow the steps below:

  1. Login in with your existing Email and Password - click Continue

If you don't yet have one, create a new Square account with the Sign up button.

NOTE: Once you complete the connection process your Square button will turn RED and remove the option to Connect

The option then will be to Disconnect if in the future you want to disconnect
