How to set up your Online booking page to just allow existing clients already in your Pocket PA client list to book online

When you are a busy and successful self-employed business owner, you may want to use the Online Booking system to only let your existing clients access your calendar and book themselves in when it's convenient for them.

Wonderful!

But what happens if you are too busy seeing your existing clients and cannot take on new clients at this point and only want to allow those who are your loyal customers to use the Online Booking system?

Pocket PA has thought of all that! Hallelujah!

  • From the Appointments tab, go into your Online booking settings Tab 3, Bookings Settings and look under the Cancellation Policy.

  • The top line has an ON/OFF button which you can switch (by default it is OFF)

  • Switch to ON if you only want to allow existing clients in Pocket PA to make an online booking

NOTE: They will be verified at the start of the booking process with a unique code being sent to either their mobile number or email address to ensure they are stored in your client list.

If either of these fields are NOT found then they will be seen as a 'new' client and will not be able to proceed to make an Online Booking.

  • Switch to OFF if you want to allow both existing and new client bookings alike in your Online booking system.

NOTE: New clients that book will have a new Client contact profile automatically set up on completion of a successful Online Booking.

  • Press Save settings once you've finished.
