Introduction
The shopping cart functionality in the order line dialog allows users to add items to a temporary shopping cart before finalizing them in an order. This provides a more flexible and efficient way to gather items before placing an order.
Enabling the Feature
To use the shopping cart functionality, it must be activated in the system settings.
Go to Orders / Basket mode adding Order line
How to Use the Shopping Cart
Adding Items to the Shopping Cart
Navigate to the order line dialog.
Find the desired item in the item list.
Click the shopping cart icon π next to the item to add it to the shopping cart.
The quantity can be adjusted directly in the field before or after adding the item.
Opening and Editing the Shopping Cart
Click the shopping cart icon π in the top-right menu to open the shopping cart.
The shopping cart window will display a list of added items.
Make the following adjustments:
Change the quantity using the + and - buttons.
Remove items by clicking the trash icon π.
Once all adjustments are made, close the shopping cart or proceed to the next step.
Adding the Shopping Cart to an Order
Open the shopping cart if it is not already visible.
Click "Add" to transfer all items from the shopping cart to the order.
The items will be added as order lines, and the shopping cart will be emptied.
