Term

Explanation

Stock

The actual physical quantity of goods currently in stock.

Available

The amount of stock that is free for sale or production (not reserved). Stock - Reserved

Reserved

Quantity that has been reserved for customer orders, production, or projects.

Ordered

Quantity that has been ordered from suppliers but not yet received.

Net Available

Stock + Ordered – Reserved . The usable stock amount.

Purchase deadline

The last date to place the order to receive it before planned production start
