Order details in the purchasing module
ProdSys is now launching a useful improvement in the Purchasing module. You can now expand an item line and see an overview of all orders that reserve the relevant item. This includes information about the customer, order type, reserved quantity, and production start and end times. The function gives you better insight into why an item is in the red, which orders affect inventory, and how you should plan your purchases. The goal is to make purchasing work more efficient and provide quick access to important information without having to look up other modules. This provides increased control, better prioritization, and reduces the risk of incorrect orders.
Additional percentage is removed from purchase price calculation
ProdSys now removes the additional percentage from the purchase price calculation to make the cost calculation more accurate and easier to understand. The additional percentage is mainly used for shipping surcharges and other additional costs, but these are not part of the real purchase price and should therefore not generate a purchase price.
The change means that purchase price is now calculated only based on purchase price, discount and exchange rate. Additional costs can still be registered, but are handled separately, so that cost price, margins and analyses become more accurate and transparent.
This provides a more predictable workflow, better data quality, and a cost price that clearly reflects the actual purchase value of the item – without the influence of variable surcharges. The feature has now been updated for all users.

Automatic calculation of perimeter on order lines
ProdSys is now launching a new feature that automatically calculates perimeter on order lines. When you register the length, width and possibly height of an item, the system calculates both perimeter unit and total perimeter in meters based on the number of units.
This makes it easier to work with products where circumference affects material consumption, pricing or production planning. The function reduces manual work, reduces errors and ensures a more precise calculation directly in the order screen. If necessary dimensions are missing, the circumference is displayed as 0, so that the user clearly sees the need for correction.
This provides better overview, faster processing and more accurate orders. The feature is now available to all ProdSys users.
New privilege: End the day in Station Progress
ProdSys now introduces a new access right that controls whether an employee can end hours directly in Station Progress . If this right is not enabled, the user must clock out via Time Clock with barcode as before.
This feature is useful for companies that want more flexibility in how employees end their workday, especially when Station Progress is actively used to track production tasks. It makes it easier for employees working at fixed stations to end their day without going to a separate terminal.
At the same time, the right gives the business full control: only users who should have this option get it, while others follow the regular stamping routine. The feature is now available in permissions.

Calculation of DG on order lines for Products without raw material withdrawal
Previously, DG% was not displayed on products that were added to order lines with only the product. Now the cost price is added even if you only select the Product without order items.
