New API widget in ProdSys: Full overview of API errors
We have launched a new API widget in ProdSys Dashboard that gives you a quick and clear overview of errors that occur in integrations with external systems – such as PowerOffice , EHF and other API connections.
With the new widget you can:
See which orders have failed
Get an overview per customer, API and status
Read specific error messages that explain what went wrong
Filter and sort for quick troubleshooting
This makes it easier to detect problems early, correct errors, and ensure stable flow between ProdSys and your financial/invoicing systems.
The widget can be added via the Dashboard settings (the gear) and customized as needed.
Barcode-based timesheet report
This report is used for easy and fast time registration using barcodes . Each order line is printed with an associated barcode that can be scanned directly in the workshop or in production.
The report contains:
Order header with customer, address, period and reference
Details per operation / order line
Barcode per operation for starting time registration
Expected time and resource (machine/work type)
By scanning the barcode, the user automatically starts time registration on the correct order and operation, which:
Reduces misregistration
Saves time
Ensures correct costing per job
Use delivery address from underlying order
In the new Order dialog in ProdSys, we have added a new function:
" Use delivery address from order" .
When this option is enabled, the delivery address on the order will automatically be retrieved from the underlying order from which the order was created, instead of the default delivery address on the supplier or warehouse.
This offers several advantages:
Ensures that goods are delivered directly to the correct project, customer or location
Reduces risk of incorrect delivery
Less manual work when creating orders
Especially useful for order and project-based purchasing
The feature can be turned on and off per order, giving you full control and flexibility when needed.
Discount matrix – now with both discount and price
We have further developed the discount matrix for items in ProdSys. It now supports not only percentage discounts , but also fixed unit prices per discount group .
In the new solution, per article you can:
Define discount group
Enter discount (%)
Alternatively or additionally set a fixed unit price
Here's how it works:
If a unit price is set for a discount group, it will override the default price and discount.
If unit price is not set, discount percentage is used as before
Provides full flexibility per customer or price group
Advantages:
Easier handling of customer agreements and special prices
Less need for separate articles
More precise and predictable pricing
This feature gives you better control over pricing and makes ProdSys even more flexible for both sales and project-based deliveries.
Improved time registration – direct time entry
We have updated the design for time registration in ProdSys so that you can now enter start and end times directly , in addition to using the "Now" buttons.
What's new:
Direct entry of start and end times
« Now » button for quick registration of the current time
Automatic calculation of the number of hours
Clearer display of recorded time
Advantages:
Faster and more accurate post-registration
Easier to correct times afterwards
Better user experience on both PC and tablet
Less need for manual adjustments
Critical items - full control of inventory and future needs
"Critical Item Consumption" screen gives you an overview of items where inventory becomes critical in relation to when the items will be used on orders or production orders.
The solution connects:
Planned consumption from orders and production
Existing inventory
Delivery time and lead time
Date when the article is actually needed
In the overview you can see, among other things:
Which article becomes critical?
Date of consumption
Which warehouse is affected?
Change in inventory and expected new inventory
Order or production order reference
Number of delivery days and lead days
This makes it possible to:
Detect shortage situations before they occur
Prioritize purchasing and production
Avoid production stops and delivery delays
Make the right decisions based on actual planned needs
The screen is an important tool for purchasing, inventory and planning , and contributes to better flow and higher delivery precision.
NB! Permissions must be granted to this screen
Check article reservations – critical articles directly from orders
From the Order screen, you can now open the "Check item reservations" report , which gives you a full overview of whether the order has critical items in relation to planned withdrawals and available stock.
The report shows:
Which items on the order are critical
Date of planned use
Planned withdrawal and expected inventory
Status that clearly highlights shortage situations
Related orders created to meet the need
The report is divided into two parts:
Upper part - overview of critical items per order line
Lower part – shows relevant purchase orders , with supplier, quantity and expected delivery date
Advantages:
Provides a quick overview of whether the order is ready for delivery
Reveals defects before production or assembly begins
Simplifies dialogue between orders, inventory and purchasing
Reduces the risk of stops and delays
This report makes it easy to follow up on material coverage directly from the order and ensures better control over implementation.
