Improving data traffic
We have improved the system's performance by removing bottlenecks in the communication between the databases. Previously, this could lead to reduced speed during high traffic, especially in the middle of the day. After the optimizations, data traffic is handled more efficiently, which provides faster and more stable response even during periods of high load.
New and faster order search in ProdSys
We have launched a new order search screen in ProdSys, developed with a focus on higher speed and better user experience in daily work.
The new order search is optimized for fast access to order data and handles large amounts of data significantly more efficiently than before. This results in noticeably faster response times, especially during periods of high load, and makes it easier to find the right order without waiting.
Advanced order search is still available more advanced analyses, complex filtering and report extraction are needed . In this way, ProdSys combines the best of two worlds: fast and efficient daily search – and powerful tools for in-depth analysis.
Improved timecard – faster and easier registration
The timecard screen in ProdSys has now been improved to make time registration both faster and more user-friendly .
It is now possible to enter times directly using the keyboard , which provides a significantly more efficient workflow – especially for users who record many hours during the day.
At the same time, the screen has been simplified and cleaned up , so that the most important fields are more clearly visible. This provides a better overview, fewer clicks and less risk of incorrect registration.
Product template numbering
You can now enter line numbers on product templates.
This will sort the product templates when adding them to order lines.
Number of resources in activity dialog
This field is used to easily increase the number of hours per day spent on the task.
When updating this field, it is multiplied by the number of hours per day on the article and the value is inserted into hours per day.
Generate and attach report as PDF attachment to documents
ProdSys now provides the ability to generate a PDF report directly from a document and automatically link the report to the document as an attachment .
When used, a PDF is created based on the selected report (such as a measurement form or other document report). The PDF file is then saved as an attachment to the document, so that all relevant documentation is collected in one place.
This offers several advantages:
Document and associated report are always linked together
The PDF becomes part of the document's history
Easier sharing and archiving
Reduced risk of errors or missing documentation
The feature is particularly useful where documentation needs to be approved, sent to a customer, or stored as part of quality and traceability requirements.
Anonymous update of Document data fields
To be able to edit document table data anonymously without changing who has updated the field, a function has now been added for this.
Predefined values in text fields in document data
You can now enter predefined values in text fields in document data columns.
This is beneficial so that users don't have to use Alt + XXX to insert special characters.
