We continue to improve speed and stability
This week we have continued to work on improving the speed and stability of ProdSys. The focus has been on the warehouse and logistics functionality, where we have made several technical optimizations to ensure faster response times and a more stable user experience.
The improvement work is part of our ongoing work to make the system even more efficient and reliable for our customers. We will continue this work in the future, with the goal of regular improvements across the entire solution.
New feature: Link order items directly to documents
We have now launched a new feature that makes it possible to link order items directly to relevant documents. This provides a better overview and easier access to, for example, drawings, specifications and other documentation related to each individual order line.
With this feature, you can quickly select one or more order items and link them to desired documents – all in one place. The result is a more efficient workflow, reduced risk of errors and better information flow between orders, warehouse and production.
The feature is available now and is especially useful for businesses that actively work with documentation in order and production processes.
Simplified time registration with new work task
We have made important improvements to the time registration screen to make registration easier, faster, and more transparent.
The following fields have now been removed:
Station
Station assignment
Project
These have been replaced by a new field: Work task .
The work task is based on the order item on the order and contains a direct link to the station, station task and project where relevant. This provides fewer choices, less risk of error and a more streamlined registration.
In addition, the Disable TR function has been improved. When activated, all orders are now displayed - even orders that are not marked as Timereg . This provides greater flexibility and better control in your workday.
The changes contribute to simpler and more efficient time recording, especially for production and workshop environments.
NB! Remember to check the box for Mandatory Assignment in the class rules .
Simplified barcode time registration – even without barcodes
We have now updated the barcode-based time registration screen. The solution has been stripped down and simplified in the same way as the new time registration screen, with a focus on fast and efficient registration.
The barcode screen can now be used without barcodes . This means you can easily record time directly on orders, order lines and work tasks , even if barcodes are not available. This provides greater flexibility in everyday life and makes the solution suitable for multiple workflows and environments.
The result is a faster, clearer and more user-friendly tool for time registration – whether you use barcodes or manual registration.
New barcode report for efficient time registration
We have launched a new barcode report that can be used in conjunction with the barcode time registration screen. The report provides a clear printout of barcodes associated with order lines and work tasks, making it easy to register time quickly and accurately.
The barcode report is found in the Options menu for order lines , under Reports . Here you can generate a report that contains all the necessary barcodes for the current order, ready to print or view digitally.
The solution is particularly well suited to production and workshop environments where quick access to the correct order, line and task is important. Together with barcode time registration, this provides an efficient, structured and user-friendly workflow.
New field in Order details: Pick progress
We have now introduced a new field in order details : Pick Progress . The field provides a clear percentage overview of how far picking or receiving has progressed for each order.
Pick progress is automatically calculated based on the pick status on the order lines and provides quick insight into whether the materials are ready, partially picked or fully picked. This makes it easier to follow up on orders, plan further work and ensure better flow between warehouse, logistics and production.
The field can be used for sorting and filtering in the order list, so you can quickly identify orders that are ready for the next step - or that still need to be picked.
The new function provides better control, increased overview and more precise follow-up of orders in everyday life.
Bug fixes and improvements
When importing order items, passive items are not imported.
The order screen is sorted by default in descending order by Order Date.
If there is only one line in the order search, the scroll bar is below the row.
When copying orders, the Delivery Date is not copied. This is to avoid incorrect registrations.
Editing time registration directly from time registration did not work
The document pane in the order screen did not save the layout
Exchange rate has been out of order
Copying articles in count did not work
Map lookup didn't work
