Notification center

How to use the notification center in ProdSys – view notifications, mark them as read, and choose which notifications you receive.

The notification center tells you directly in ProdSys when something relevant happens – for example when a new invoice is created, you are assigned an activity, or the system is updated.

You open your notifications from the bell icon in the top-right corner, and you decide which notifications you want to receive. The feature is available to all users.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged in to ProdSys.

  • Events that trigger notifications exist (for example a new invoice).

Step-by-step: Read and manage notifications

  1. Click the bell icon in the top-right corner. The number on the bell shows how many unread notifications you have.

  2. The dialog that opens shows your unread notifications, with a title, description, and time.

  3. Click the X on a notification to mark it as read individually.

  4. Click Mark all as read to mark all notifications as read at once.

  5. Click Show full list to open the complete list of notifications.

The dialog shows only unread notifications. Once a notification is marked as read, it disappears from the dialog but remains in the full list.

Step-by-step: Choose which notifications you receive

  1. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner and select User Settings. 👉 Open User Settings in ProdSys

  2. Scroll down to the Notifications → Notification preferences section.

  3. Here you see the notification types you can receive, for example New Invoice, Activity Assigned, and System Updates.

  4. Click the X on a type to opt out of it. The status updates automatically.

Note

The notification center is under active development. More notification types are on the way, and a chat between users is planned for the future. This article will be updated as new features become available.
