Withdrawal directly on batch/serial number

Now you can register withdrawals for a specific batch or serial number directly from the Receipt & Withdrawal screen . Select the order, uncheck the item line and select Withdrawal Batch/SN from the menu – the Connect dialog shows all available batches with location, expiration date and quantity.

This is new:

  • Extraction of batch/SN from the Order items list in one step

  • See location, expiration date and available quantity before confirming

  • Pick from multiple batches at the same time

  • Order line, inventory and movements are updated automatically

Full traceability from receipt to delivery – without leaving the picking screen. The feature is available to all customers from today's update.

The image shows a web-based order management system interface, displaying a list of products with fields such as product number, quantity, order date, and warehouse location.

Actual material cost is now calculated from issued material

Result tab on an order now calculates actual material cost based on the material that is actually taken from inventory – not from the planned order lines. The Actual column thus shows the actual cost of the items that have been used, and the contribution margin and coverage ratio are updated accordingly.

This is new

  • Actual material cost = value of material taken out on the order

  • DB, DG % and profit % in the column Actual follow the actual consumption

  • Planned and actual costs can be compared line by line during the order process

  • The cost follows the batch or serial number that was taken out

The result is a more accurate picture of the profitability of each order while work is still in progress. The change applies to all customers from today's update and requires no setup .

Order lines are no longer pre-selected when you open an order

When you open Order Lines , no lines are selected by default. Previously, lines could be checked off when opening, which made it easy to include lines you didn't intend to select when multi-selecting – for example, when deleting. Now you start with an empty selection and check off exactly the lines you want to include.

Additionally, the confirmation dialog now tells you how many records the action affects – for example, “Are you sure you want to delete 2 records?” – so you can check the number before confirming.

  • No order lines are preselected when opening the screen.

  • Multiple selection always starts from your own choice

  • Confirmation dialogs show the number of affected records

A small change that reduces the risk of deleting or changing the wrong lines .

New Department column in Inventory movements

Inventory Movements screen now has a Department column . Each movement – receipt, issue, order, or closed order – shows which department it belongs to, for example 100 WCM or 101 Administration .

Use the column like any other: filter on a single department, sort, or drag the column header up to group all movements by department. This makes it easy to track inventory consumption per department and reconcile movements against departmental accounts.

This is new

  • Department is displayed on all inventory movements

  • Filter, sort and group by department

  • The column is available in the column selector and in export

Add additional cost to order lines – broken down by value

Now you can add an additional cost such as shipping, customs or handling to the lines of an order and let ProdSys automatically allocate it. The cost is allocated to the selected lines in proportion to the net amount of each line, so that lines with higher value get a larger share.

Select the order lines, open the menu ( ⋮ ) and select Calculate . Enter the additional cost, check the preview and click Ok – each line will get a new unit price that includes its share.

This is new

  • Allocate shipping and other additional costs to selected order lines

  • Weighted by net amount per line

  • Preview cost sharing and new price per line before confirming

  • New unit prices update order totals and results immediately

Dangerous goods are now transferred to Cargonizer

Shipping dangerous goods (ADR) has become easier. The package lines in the Freight dialog now have three new fields: Un # , Tunnel code and Label . Fill them in per package, and ProdSys will transfer the information to Cargonizer when you click Export – so that the carrier gets the correct information about dangerous goods on the shipment and the shipping label.

  • Un # – the substance's UN number, e.g. UN 1203

  • Tunnel code – ADR tunnel restriction code, e.g. B/D

  • Label – hazard class / hazard label, e.g. 6.1

  • All three are automatically transferred to Cargonizer upon export

Record the values on the package line before exporting the shipment. Leave the fields blank for packages without dangerous goods. Available to all customers with Cargonizer integration as of today's update .

Order number is now sent in EHF invoice via Peppol

When sending an invoice as EHF via Peppol, ProdSys now places the order number in the Sales Order Reference field (cac:OrderReference/cbc:SalesOrderID, BT-14 in the Peppol specification). This is the field reserved for the seller's own order number, so that the customer sees the order number from ProdSys directly in their invoice processing - without opening the PDF.

This is new

  • The order number from ProdSys is sent in the Peppol field Sales Order Reference

  • Appears as Sales Order Reference in the recipient's invoice metadata

  • Makes it easier for the customer to match invoice to order

  • Requires no setup – applies to all EHF invoices from today's update

The customer's own order number (BT-13, Order Reference ) is not affected and is sent as before.

Improvements and bug fixes

  • Animation when opening dialogs removed for a quieter screen

  • Saves view in hourly check

  • CO2 added to Article import format

  • Incorrect values when entering budget per month corrected
