Setting up and using menus

Main Dashboard

The Main Dashboard in ProdSys provides a centralized view of your most important information and tasks, allowing you to efficiently manage and monitor your activities. Here’s an overview of how to navigate and customize your dashboard:


Dashboard Layout

  • Side Menu: The dashboard features a side menu that provides quick access to various modules and functions within ProdSys. You can show or hide this menu by clicking the ProdSys icon, located in the top-left corner of the screen. This feature allows you to maximize your workspace or access additional functionalities as needed.

  • Grouping: The menu is grouped by category and collapsed by default. To expand them click the down arrow beside them.

  • Open: Click the Name to open

  • Menu favorites: In the top right corner the favorite menu is placed. To edit favorites click the Gear to the right of the Homepage menu

Adding and Customizing Widgets

  • Add Widgets: To customize your dashboard, you can add widgets that display key information and metrics relevant to your role. To add a widget:

    1. Click the Gear Icon: Locate and click the gear icon in the lower-right corner of the dashboard. This will open the widget configuration menu.

    2. Select Widgets: Browse the available widgets and select the ones you want to add to your dashboard. Widgets can include charts, task lists, recent activity logs, and more.

    3. Add Widget: Select widget in left list and click “Right Arrow” or select and drag to place the selected widgets onto your dashboard.

  • Resize Widgets: You can adjust the size of each widget to better fit your layout preferences. To resize a widget Click the Gear Icon:

    1. Enter widget in list: Enter width or height and type from 1-4.

  • Sort and Arrange Widgets: Organize your dashboard by sorting and arranging widgets according to your needs. To rearrange widgets Click the Gear Icon:

    1. Drag and Drop: Click and hold the title bar of the widget you want to move.

Customizing the View

  • Save Layout: Once you have added, resized, and arranged your widgets, ProdSys automatically saves your layout. This ensures that your customized dashboard view remains consistent each time you log in.

Interacting with Widgets

  • View Details: Many widgets allow you to interact with the displayed information. For example, clicking on a chart may reveal more detailed data or open related reports.

  • Refresh Data: Some widgets offer a refresh option to update the displayed data in real-time.

The Main Dashboard in ProdSys is designed to be flexible and user-friendly, enabling you to create a personalized workspace that enhances productivity and provides quick access to the information you need most.
