This feature is essential for tracking assets and their current statuses, such as whether they are linked to an order or have ongoing activities. Articles on the map are color-coded based on their status to help users easily identify and monitor equipment in real-time.
Follow the steps below to navigate and use the Equipment Map efficiently:
Step 1: Log in to ProdSys
Log in to your ProdSys account using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the Equipment Map Page
From the side menu, go to the Equipment section.
Select Equipment Map to open the map view.

Step 3: Understand the Map Overview
The map displays the locations of articles and equipment as pins. Each pin represents the geographic location of an article, and clicking on a pin reveals additional details, including:
Article Number

Order and Activities Information: Whether the article is linked to any orders or has ongoing activities.
Status Indicators: Color-coded markers for easy identification.
Step 4: Filtering and Searching for Equipment
On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll see filtering options:
Type: Select the type of article.
Category: Filter based on the category of the article.
Group: Select the group under which the article belongs.
You can also use the search bar at the top to quickly locate specific articles or equipment by number or description.
Step 5: Color-Coded Status Markers
The equipment on the map is displayed with color-coded markers based on their status:
Red: No Ordre(s) or Activity(s) assigned..
Blue: Ordre(s) tildelt
Green: Activity(s) tildelt.
Yellow: Order(s) og Activity(s) tildelt
This color-coding allows users to quickly understand the status of each piece of equipment at a glance.
Step 6: Viewing Equipment Details
To view more information about a specific article or piece of equipment:
Click on a pin on the map. A pop-up window will appear displaying key details.
The pop-up includes information such as the article description, order details, the person responsible for the equipment, and the last five orders related to the article, open Activities.
Clicking on the order numbers will take you directly to the relevant order details in ProdSys for more in-depth information.
Step 7: Select and Deselect Equipment
On the left panel, you will find the options to:
Select All: Highlights all the equipment and articles currently displayed on the map.
Deselect All: Clears all selections and resets the map view.
This functionality is particularly useful when you want to focus on a specific subset of equipment.
Step 8: Map View Modes
At the bottom right corner of the map, you can toggle between different map views:
Map (Kart): A standard geographical map view.
Satellite: A satellite imagery view of the world for more detailed visualization of physical locations.
