In ProdSys, the Order Action Menu provides quick access to essential actions related to managing orders. Below is an explanation of each option available in the action menu and how to use them effectively.

  1. Copy
    This option allows you to create a duplicate of the selected order. It’s useful when you need to repeat similar orders without manually entering all the details again.
    How to Use:

    • Click on the "Copy" option from the action menu.

    • The copied order can be connected to the original by selecting Connect to current order

    • A new order will be created with the same details as the original one, allowing you to make necessary adjustments if needed.

  2. Open Order Gantt
    This option opens a Gantt chart view of the selected order. Gantt charts are helpful for visualizing the order timeline, including start and finish dates, dependencies, and progress.
    How to Use:

    • Select "Open order gantt."

    • The system will display a Gantt chart, providing a detailed view of the order's activities and their respective schedules.

  3. Change Order Category
    This option allows you to change the category of an order. Different categories can represent various types of orders, such as purchase orders, sales orders, etc.
    How to Use:

    • Hover over the "Change order category" option.

    • Select the appropriate category from the submenu that appears.

  4. Create Related Order
    If you need to create a new order that is linked to the current order, this option is available. It’s useful for creating follow-up or dependent orders.
    How to Use:

    • Click on "Create related order."

    • The system will guide you through the steps to create a new order that is connected to the existing one, ensuring proper linkage and reference between them.

  5. Open Pickup
    This action is used to manage the logistics of order pickup. It opens the pickup interface where you can manage the pickup details for the order.
    How to Use:

    • Select "Open pickup" from the menu.

    • You can then view or edit pickup details, including schedules and handling instructions.

  6. Delete
    This option allows you to permanently delete the selected order. Be cautious when using this option, as it will remove the order from the system.
    How to Use:

    • Click on "Delete."

    • Confirm the deletion if prompted. The order will be permanently removed from the system.
