For your ongoing enjoyment, Lightning Link features Seasons - seasonal progressions cycles that typically run for two weeks. Each Season is designed to keep the game exciting and challenging for all players.
Key elements of each Season include:
Duration: Seasons typically last for two weeks.
Tier Progression: You can advance through multiple tiers during the season, earning rewards and bonuses.
Season Reset: At the end of every season, all you tier progress resets, marking the start of a new season.
How it works?
As you accumulate Lightning Points, you progress your Tier which helps you to advance on the Leaderboard.
In our updated system, there are 10 Tiers to progress through during each season.
To track your progress and see the rewards you've unlocked, tap on the Lightning Total at the top of your screen.
This will open the Tier Rewards - the list or Lightning Milestones you achieved. Here you can see your current tier, the rewards you've already collected, and the rewards available at higher tiers.
Accumulating Lightning Points not only helps you progress through the tiers. Reaching Tier 5 earns you a spot on the Leaderboard and also unlocks valuable milestone rewards along the way.
As you advance, your Bonus Ready and Daily Spin get upgraded, and you can earn Orbs and Coins to keep playing and enjoying additional rewards.
Leaderboard
The Leaderboard displays your current ranking and progress, along with details about available rewards. There are Top 3 and Top 10,000 rewards categories.
Top 3 Rewards:
🥇 1st - 1000M
🥈 2nd - 500M
🥉 3rd - 250M
Top 10,000 players will earn rewards ranging from 100M down to 25M, based on the ranking.
Top 10 - 100M
Top 100 - 50M
Top 1,000 - 25M
At the end of the Season, your progress is tallied before the reset. If you reach Tier 5 or higher and earn enough Lightning Points to place in the Top 10,000 or Top 3, you’ll receive an End-of-Season reward.
Depending on the tier you reached, you’ll also receive a "Headstart from previous Season" - Lightning Points that help you progress faster right from the beginning of the new Season.
Please note that the "Headstart from the previous Season" stacks with the "Bonus Head Start" from Seasonal Challenges. Completing Seasonal Challenges during the Season grants you this bonus, giving you an even stronger boost.

As you already know, reaching Tier 5 unlocks Leaderboard for you but you can always try to maximise your rewards and make it to Tier 10!
Keep in mind, as you earn Lightning Points and progress through Tier Rewards (Lightning Milestones), your Tier level increases continuously boosting your chances of ranking among the top players eligible for End of Season rewards.
