Barcode Scanner
The mobile app version of ProfitGo includes the Scanner tab, which can be accessed in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
The barcode scanner uses your mobile device’s camera to scan EAN/GTIN barcodes and automatically locate the corresponding Amazon listing. Immediately after scanning a product, you receive a quick overview of important KPIs such as monthly sales, the current selling price, and the maximum purchase price based on your individual settings.
By tapping on the product, the full ProfitGo analysis opens, including all familiar sections and product information.
The barcode scanner is especially useful for users doing Retail Arbitrage, where products are physically checked in stores to identify profitable deals quickly.
AI Scanner
Another mobile-exclusive feature is the AI Scanner.
Instead of scanning a barcode or manually entering an ASIN, EAN, product title, or URL, the AI Scanner allows you to analyze a product using your phone camera. This is especially useful when the barcode is not clearly visible, when you want to quickly check a product based on its front packaging, or when you are sourcing in a store and want to analyze products as quickly as possible.
To use the AI Scanner, open the Scanner tab in the ProfitGo mobile app and select the AI scanning option. Place the product clearly in front of your camera and make sure that the product name, brand, or packaging are visible.
Then take a photo directly inside the app by tapping the white button at the bottom of the screen.
ProfitGo will analyze the image and search for matching products based on the visible product name, brand, packaging, or other product details.
If the product is recognized, ProfitGo will show the most relevant results. You can then select the correct product and continue with the full ProfitGo analysis.
For the best results, make sure that:
The product packaging is clearly visible
The brand and product title can be read
The image is not blurry
There is enough light
The product is centered in the camera view
There are no strong reflections on the packaging
If the first scan does not find the correct product, try taking another photo from a different angle or make sure that the most important product details are clearly visible.
Mass Scanner
The Mass Scanner is another mobile feature inside the ProfitGo app that allows you to scan multiple products quickly one after another.
You do not need to enable a separate option for this. Simply stay in the Scanner tab and scan several products in a row. ProfitGo will automatically collect the scanned products and display them in an overview.
This makes the process much faster, especially when you are checking many products in a physical store and do not want to open the full analysis for every single product immediately.
For each scanned product, ProfitGo shows the most important information directly, such as the current selling price, estimated monthly sales, maximum purchase price, and relevant sourcing data. You can then quickly decide which products are worth analyzing in more detail.
From the results overview, you can open the full ProfitGo analysis, start a Reverse Search, or continue scanning more products.
The Mass Scanner is especially useful for Retail Arbitrage, store checks, or situations where you want to scan many products quickly and filter out the most interesting opportunities afterward.
