Discounts allow you to reduce the transaction total by a fixed amount or percentage of the transaction or item total.
Discounts are applied before tax is applied to the transaction.
Mobile application
Select Settings > Catalog > Discounts.
Select Create Discount.
Enter the discount Name and an optional Description.
Select the Discount Type to determine if the discount is a Fixed Amount or Percentage.
Enter the discount Amount or Percentage.
Select Save.
Web application
Select Catalog > Discounts.
The Discount Management window is displayed.
Select Create Discount in the upper-right corner. The Create Discount window is displayed.
Enter the Name and an optional Description of the discount.
Select the Discount Type to determine if the discount is a fixed amount or percentage.
Enter the discount Amount or Percentage based on the selected type.
Select Save in the upper-right corner.
