With our income verification service, the only way to verify income is through the applicant connecting their online banking information to pull direct data. As the landlord you could request 90 days of bank statements or paystubs from the applicant but I would recommend this information be verified in some type of way to ensure validity. There are sites out there where you can purchase fake documents.

The applicant is provided with a privacy & security policy when starting the process and their account information is not stored in the system or shared on the report. Only deposit information is shown on the final report and the applicants see a copy of the report before submitting it. To be honest, there would be more of the applicant's sensitive information on the bank statements or pay stubs than there would be on this report.

The income verification utilizes 256‐bit encryption, the same used by banks. Username and passwords are never displayed, viewed, or stored. This is the safest, fastest, and most convenient way to submit income information for a potential property manager or lender to review and approve.
