Rocketeer now uses Meta’s Conversions API (CAPI) to give you the most accurate ad tracking possible.
Instead of relying only on the pixel, which can be blocked by browsers and ad blockers, CAPI connects directly with Meta’s servers. This means your leads and purchases are tracked more reliably, and your reporting inside Rocketeer stays accurate.
With just one code snippet and a quick setup of events (like Leads or Purchases), you’ll know exactly how your ads are performing, without needing a developer or extra software.
After your campaign is launched, follow the steps below to set up tracking:
1. Click on View Ad Sets
2. Click on View Results on the Ad Set that you'll be setting the tracking for.
3. You will then land on the Ad Set View. Click on "Activate Tracking."
4. A short video appears, and all you need to do is follow the directions in the video.
5. So the first step is to install the code. It tells you the pixel that you've selected in the previous step.
6. Copy the tracking code linked to your selected Pixel, then paste it into your website or funnel builder as shown in the help video.
Click "Next Step" after.
7. After installing the code, type in the exact page URL where you want the event to trigger.
8. Then select the Goal Type
9. After adding the event, the system will attempt to validate this.
You can also manually validate it by clicking "Test Event Now". Once you return to Rocketeer and the setup is done correctly, the event will show a checkmark. This confirms that whenever a visitor lands on the specified URL, the action will be recorded (e.g., as a Lead or Purchase).
10. You do have the option to add as many leads as you want.
Just note:
Rocketeer requires at least one default event based on your campaign type:
Lead Campaign → Lead event required
Sales Campaign → Purchase event required
Rocketeer will show a message if no required event is set (e.g., “No event set yet. You must set up a Lead event before completing this step”).
After adding the required event, you may also add additional events if desired.
11. Once all required events are set and validated, click Complete to finish tracking setup.
12. And you're done!
This is how it will now look like insde the Ad Set View:
