Bracketing strategy involves placing both BUY STOP and SELL STOP orders simultaneously just before the release of significant news. This approach aims to capture market movements by setting pending orders just above and below the market price prior to the announcement. When the news is published, it often leads to increased volatility that can trigger one of the pending orders. As a result, the trader has the opportunity to capitalize on the price swing, potentially generating a profit from the market’s response to the economic data. This is not allowed here.
