Merging Accounts

Updated yesterday

At Seacrest Markets, we provide the flexibility for traders to merge their trading accounts regardless of their size. However, there are certain requirements that must be met for the merging process:

  1. Fresh/Untraded Status: The accounts that are eligible for merging must be at their starting balance (e.g., right after passing a challenge or post-payout). This ensures a fair and seamless merging process without any existing positions or trading history that could potentially affect the consolidation.

  2. Simulated Prop Trading Stage: The accounts being merged must be in the simulated prop trading stage and not the evaluation stage. This means that the accounts should have already completed the evaluation process and have the necessary virtual trading capital allocated to them for simulated prop trading.

  3. Same Plan Type: All accounts must be from the identical plan (e.g., no merging 1-Step with 2-Step)

Merged accounts must add up to no more than $200K per plan type.

Only 2-Step accounts can be merged if they've seen trading activity. 1-Step accounts can't be merged post-trading, as their max. trailing drawdown moves.

By merging accounts with these criteria in place, traders can consolidate their virtual trading capital and streamline their trading activities within a single account. This can provide better management and an overview of their positions, funds, and overall virtual trading performance.
